Leg 2 of Hero WPGT: Pranavi Urs leads on day 2

Yesterday, Pranavi Urs was sharing the 18-hole lead with Amandeep Drall. But after carding a one-over 71, Pranavi became the sole leader of the tournament at even-par-140.

Going into tomorrow's final round, Pranavi has an two-storke lead over second-placed Afshan Fatima.

Afshan moved inside the top-two after she recorded a 69 in her second round.

Amandeep carded a four-over-74 to slip two places down to third.

Top-three players after round two:
1. Pranavi Urs - Even-Par-140.
2. Afshan Fatima - two-over-142.
3. Amandeep Drall - three-over-143.

Asian Tour Q-School Final Stage: 9 Indians make the half-way cut in Thailand

Nine Indians made it to the third and the fourth round of Asian Tour's Q-School Final Stage.

The nine players who made the cut are Kartik Sharma (T32, -4), Yuvraj Singh Sandhu (T32,-4), Gaurav Pratap Singh (T47, -3), Kshitij Naveed Kaul (T80, -1), Aman Raj (T97, Par), Khalin Joshi (T97, Par), Varun Parikh (T97, Par), Angeed Cheema (T120, +1), Saptak Talwar (T134, +2).

While, four Indian golfers - Om Prakash Chouhan, Udayan Mane, Yashas Chandra, and Himmat Singh Rai missed the cut.

Among the four Indian players, Chouhan was the closest for making it to next round, because after carding 71, 74 Chouhan had an aggregate score of three-over-145. 

The cut-line of the Final Stage was at two-over-par hence, Chouhan missed his chance of playing in the third round by only one-stroke.

China's Wocheng Ye is the present 36-hole leader of the tournament at 13-under-129.

For two days, all players will try their very best to stay inside the top-70, because after the completion of rounds three and four, the top-70 players and ties will get into the final round which will be played on 22nd January.

Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship: Shubhankar Sharma ranked inside the top-five as round 1 gets suspended

India's Shubhankar Sharma started his 2023 season with a sublime five-under-67. 

In his opening round, Shubhankar was bogey-free. Today, He scored five birdies which all came on the par-4s, par-5s of the Yas Links Golf Course, Abu Dhabi.

As of now, Shubhankar stands tied-fifth on the leaderboard with the first round getting suspended due to fading light.

Round 1 of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship will restart on Friday morning at 07:40 local time.
